When you receive your Reiki session, you will be asked to lie down comfortably. Many people will fall asleep during Reiki sessions because the effects are felt immediately to relax and blend with the bodies natural rhythms. There is no need for you to share your mindset or physical issues with the practitioner for the treatment to be effective. When you schedule your session, you may choose whether to have your session online or in-person. For in-person treatments, you may avail yourself of the garden to relax and integrate your session. You will feel effects immediately, and other feelings or thoughts may come to you in the days following the session. If any areas of tightness in your body occur during the session, simply say to yourself, “I allow myself to release this.” If any emotion should surface, feel into the emotion in order that it be released. Your attention and awareness of your thoughts and emotions are vital to enhancing your Reiki healing experience.
