A Reiki practitioner need only channel the energy with or without touch; it does not need to be directed. Universal Energy knows where to go to do the most good. It is impossible to do harm with Reiki. This universal energy is not manipulative, and it can never be used-up. Reiki works with this energy of Universal Love, and higher universal consciousness to apply the flows where needed. It can also be used to assist the recipient to manifest their life goals.

When we experience trauma, mental, physical or emotional, we create “energetic nodes” or “energy blocks” that intercept the natural flow of vital energy. Reiki works to pass through the affected areas, raising the vibrational frequency of the physical body where the stuck feelings and thoughts are being held. The hands of the Reiki practitioner work as secondary chakras to emit the vibrational waves. Since energy flows freely through objects, it is not necessary to use touch to direct the flow. In this way, the directed energy by way of the Channelling practitioner, intervenes effectively in matter through fields of energy and consciousness, to assist with a healthy, natural state of being, in harmony with divinity.
