When you observe a candle in the dark, you can see the beams of light streaming from the source until they fade into the surrounding darkness. The further away from the source, the dimmer the beams appear, until the convergence into the darkness is imperceptible.
When the light crosses through water, the object or source can become distorted by the refractive nature of the water, which, like a lens, filters the light through countless air gaps in suspension.
If we aren’t careful, we can lose sight of our source and become disoriented as the light is cloaked by an infinite sea of bubbles.
So turn the lens inward, and trust you will be buoyed back to source. For every bubble is a tiny reflection of the light itself. Hold true to the light that is in you, and know you too light the way.
